Apple Waldorf Salad

Cool and refreshing, a healthy accompaniment for any time of year.

Dressing:

  • 1/4 cup Baker's Corner Brown Sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 cup Fit & Active Plain Nonfat Yogurt
  • Pinch of Stonemill Essentials Iodized Salt

Salad:

  • 3 cups apple, chopped (assorted varieties)
  • 2 cups red grapes, halved
  • 1/2 cup Southern Grove Walnuts, toasted and chopped

Instructions:

  1. To prepare dressing, add brown sugar to vinegar and stir with a whisk until dissolved. 
  2. Add yogurt and stir to combine. 
  3. Season with a pinch of salt.
  4. Place salad ingredients in a bowl and add dressing. 
  5. Toss to combine. 

*Can be eaten immediately, or made up to 3 hours ahead of time and chilled. Stir before serving.
