Greek Chicken Burger

Yields: 4 burgers
Herbed chicken burger with loads of veggies.
Ingredients:
- 1 Goldhen Egg
- 1 lb. ground chicken or ground turkey
- 1/4 cup Grandessa Signature Artichokes, chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. Stonemill Essentials Oregano
- 1 tsp. Stonemill Essentials Basil
- 1 tsp. Stonemill Essentials Parsley Flakes
- 1 tsp. Stonemill Essentials Salt
- 1 tsp. Stonemill Essentials Black Pepper
- 1/2 cup Rice Bowl Instant Rice, cooked
- 1 tsp. Nature's Nectar Lemon Juice
- 1/4 cup red pepper, minced
- 4 L'oven Fresh Hamburger Buns
- 4 oz. edenVale Feta Cheese
- 4 oz. Grandessa Signature Original Hummus
- Lettuce, to taste
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 tomato, sliced
Directions:
- Heat grill to a medium/high temperature.
- Beat egg in a medium sized bowl.
- Add ground chicken or turkey, artichokes, onion, minced garlic, oregano, basil, parsley, salt, pepper, rice, lemon juice and minced red pepper. Mix together until incorporated.
- Divide and flatten into 4 evenly sized patty shapes and let sit in the fridge for 5 minutes.
- Place patties on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes each side until desired doneness.
- Lightly grill the bun and set aside.
- Place 1 oz. of feta cheese on top of each burger. Continue to grill until cheese is melted and soft. Remove from heat.
- Spread hummus on both sides of the bun.
- To assemble the burger, layer the bottom of the bun with the patty with lettuce, cucumber, tomato and top half of bun.
