How often you should condition your hair depends on a variety of factors such as the type of conditioner you’re using, hair type and the condition of your hair. Typically, people with curly, dry or damaged hair should condition their hair more frequently than those with oily or fine hair. Rinse-out conditioner can be used whenever you wash your hair. This will vary person to person, but usually about two to five times a week. Check with your hair stylist to see what works best for your hair.

Wearing sunscreen is important because it helps to protect you from harmful UV rays that can cause sunburn or premature aging. Even on cloudy days, the sun still admits UV rays, so it’s a good idea to wear sunscreen daily.

Dental floss helps to remove food and plaque from between teeth or other places that your may have difficulty reaching with a toothbrush alone.

Smaller sized tampons such as “light” or “regular” have a lower absorbency and are for lighter flow. For a moderate to heavy flow, “regular” or “super” tend to have higher absorbency. Your flow may change throughout your period so you may want to purchase a variety of sizes.

While it is best to get your nutrients from the foods you eat, daily vitamins can help supplement any nutrients that may be low or missing from your diet. Your nutritionist or doctor can tell you what daily vitamins would be beneficial to your routine. Some common vitamins are Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Iron, Folate and Calcium.

You should moisturize your hands two times a day to help prevent dryness and cracking. During the winter months, moisturizing your hands more frequently may be necessary.

According to the American Dental Association, you should replace your toothbrush every 3-4 months, or sooner if the bristles begin to fray. Frayed bristles make a toothbrush less effective at removing plaque over time and regularly changing out your toothbrush prevents bacteria from building up on the bristles.
