Southwestern Hummus

A zesty new way to eat hummus.

Directions:

  1. In a food processor, combine hummus ingredients until smooth. Transfer hummus to a serving bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, combine garnish ingredients and place on top of hummus. Serve with vegetables or warm pita.

2 15.5-ounce cans Dakota's Pride Great Northern Beans, drained and rinsed

¼ cup fresh lime juice

1 ½ teaspoons fresh lime zest

¼ cup plus 1 tablespoon Carlini Extra Virgin Olive Oil

¼ teaspoon Stonemill Essentials Garlic Powder

¼ teaspoon Stonemill Essentials Onion Powder

¼ teaspoon Stonemill Essentials Cumin

¼ teaspoon Stonemill Essentials Paprika

¼ teaspoon Stonemill Essentials Chili Powder

¼ teaspoon Stonemill Essentials Iodized Salt

¼ teaspoon Stonemill Essentials Ground Black Pepper

1 tablespoon chopped cilantro

Garnish:

1 teaspoon Carlini Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 teaspoon chopped cilantro

1 Roma tomato, cored and diced
