Bake up these Simple Peanut Butter Cookies! These delectable treats are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth cravings. With just a handful of ingredients and a few simple steps, you'll have a batch of homemade cookies that will impress everyone.

Start by gathering the ingredients. First up is granulated sugar, which adds just the right amount of sweetness to balance the peanut butter's natural flavors. Next up is a touch of vanilla extract, enhancing the overall aroma and providing a touch of warmth to the cookies. And of course, no peanut butter cookie is complete without a large egg, which helps bind the ingredients together, giving the cookies their soft and chewy texture.

The most important ingredient in this recipe is the crunchy peanut butter. This smooth and crunchy blend of peanut goodness lends an irresistible taste and texture to the cookies. As you stir in the peanut butter with the sugar, vanilla and egg, the dough comes together, promising a delightful treat.

Now comes the fun part. Take rounded tablespoonfuls of the dough and drop them onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie. This ensures that they have enough room to spread and bake evenly. Pop the tray into the preheated oven and let the magic happen for approximately 15 minutes. Keep an eye on the edges, as they should turn a beautiful golden brown, signaling that your cookies are ready to be devoured.

Directions:                   

  1. Preheat oven to 350˚.
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  3. Whisk together sugar, vanilla and egg. Stir in peanut butter.
  4. Drop by rounded tablespoonful, spacing 2-inches apart, onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges. Remove from oven and allow to cool on sheet for 5 minutes before serving.

Tip: For a sweet and salty treat sprinkle Sea Salt on cookies after they are removed from oven and still warm.
