Taffy Apple Cones

Creamy, crunchy and satisfying, presented to look like an indulgent ice cream cone!


  1. Drain pineapple and reserve juice. Combine drained pineapple with marshmallows and refrigerate.   
  2. In a saucepan, combine reserved pineapple juice, egg, sugar, flour and vinegar. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring frequently. Refrigerate mixture
    8 hours or overnight.
  3. In a large bowl, combine marshmallow mixture, cooked mixture, peanuts, apples and whipped topping. Refrigerate for at least one hour.
  4. To assemble: Use an ice cream scoop to place equal portions of taffy apple salad on top of each cone or into waffle bowls. Drizzle each portion with 1 teaspoon of caramel topping and top each with a maraschino cherry.
