Best-Ever Club Sandwich

So simple and so good.

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and mustard. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  2. Place sliced tomatoes and cucumber in a small bowl. Add olive oil, vinegar and Italian seasoning. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Toss to combine and let sit for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Toast bread. Lightly spread each slice of bread with the mayonnaise mixture. 
  4. To assemble: Top a slice of toast with 2 slices of ham, a slice of cheese, tomato, cucumber and another slice of toast, mayonnaise side down. Repeat the layers one more time ending with a slice of toast, mayonnaise side down. Cut each sandwich in half diagonally and secure with a toothpick.

4 tablespoons Burman's Mayonnaise

2 tablespoons Burman's Dijon Mustard

Stonemill Essentials Iodized Salt, to taste

Stonemill Essentials Ground Black Pepper, to taste

3 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced

½ cucumber, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons Carlini Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 tablespoon Tuscan Garden White Vinegar

1 teaspoon Stonemill Essentials Italian Seasoning

12 slices L'oven Fresh Split Top Wheat Bread

9 ounces Lunch Mate Honey or Smoked Ham

8 slices Happy Farms Deli Sliced Muenster or Swiss Cheese
