Bunless Black Bean or Brown Rice Burger

Directions:

  1. In a food processor, combine all burger patty ingredients. Pulse for 1 minute until you can form a ball with the mixture.
  2. Form 6 4-ounce patties with the mixture.
  3. Heat a nonstick pan over medium-high heat, coat with cooking spray. Sear and cook each patty 5-6 minutes on each side.
  4. Serve with artisan lettuce, tomatoes and a dollop of hummus.

1 cup shredded carrots

¼ cup diced red onion

½ cup diced green bell pepper

¼ cup diced red bell pepper

15.25 ounces Happy Harvest Whole Kernel Corn, drained

½ teaspoon Stonemill Essentials Chili Powder

1 tablespoon Stonemill Essentials Parsley Flakes

½ teaspoon Stonemill Essentials Iodized Salt

½ teaspoon Stonemill Essentials Ground Black Pepper

1 Goldhen Large Egg

15.5 ounces Dakota's Pride Black Beans, drained or 2 cups prepared Fit & Active Instant Brown Rice

1 ¼ cups Chef's Cupboard Plain Bread Crumbs

Carlini Canola Cooking Spray

Artisan lettuce

6 tomato slices

6 ounces Little Salad Bar Garlic Topped Hummus
