Mom's Holiday Scalloped Potatoes
- Preheat oven to 400°. Coat a 13x9-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
- Layer potatoes over the bottom of the pan, add a layer of onions. Scatter 1/4 of the butter over the onions, followed by 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Repeat 3 more times.
- Carefully pour the heavy whipping cream over the potatoes. Place the baking dish on a baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour, 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork tender. Allow to rest for 15 minutes before serving.
