Hawaiian Barbecue Beans

A taste of the islands great for any barbecue.


  1. Cut bacon into ¼ inch lengthwise pieces. In a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, cook bacon until crispy, about 10 minutes. Remove bacon and reserve.
  2. Add ground beef to Dutch oven, cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove beef and reserve.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, sauté onion until translucent, about 8 minutes. Add pineapple and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Return bacon and beef to Dutch oven. Add remaining ingredients except cilantro. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Garnish with cilantro.

1 cup Burman's Hickory BBQ Sauce*

½ cup Burman's Ketchup

½ cup Burman's Honey Mustard

28 ounces Dakota's Pride Homestyle Baked Beans

15.5 ounces Dakota's Pride Black Beans

15.5 ounces Dakota's Pride Great Northern Beans

1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped (optional)
