How to Purchase ALDI Bulk Gift Cards

Create a CashStar Account

Businesses & organizations can apply for a CashStar Account to place & manage orders directly. Email your organizations W9 to our Gift Card Team. ALDI reserves the right to approve or reject applications at our sole discretion. Please allow 4 complete business days for your application’s review. When accepted, you will receive access to our bulk gift card portal.

Item Exemptions

We are proud to offer optional item exemptions to meet your needs.

  • No Exemption:
    Standard gift cards do not have exemptions applied and may be used to purchase any item.
  • Alcohol Exemption:
    Gift cards with an alcohol exemption prohibit the card from being used to purchase alcoholic beverages. Eligible funds are deducted at the register and outstanding balances for alcoholic items must be paid for with an alternate method-of-payment.
  • Food-Only Exemption:
    Gift cards with a food only exemption prohibit the card from being used to purchase non-food items as well as alcoholic beverages. Please note this exemption applies to the purchase of household and paper products, as well as reusable shopping bags. Eligible funds are deducted at the register automatically, and outstanding balances for non-food or alcohol items must be paid for with an alternate method-of-payment.

Invoicing

CashStar automatically generates an invoice when order details are submitted. Invoices can be located on top of the order details summary page within the orders section of CashStar.

Methods of Payment

Remittance details can be located within your invoice.

  • ACH Transfer:
    A remittance email must be sent to Gift Card Team when issuing payment.
  • Wire Transfer:
    A remittance email must be sent to Gift Card Team when issuing payment.
  • Organizational Check:
    As standard procedure to ensure the security & integrity of our transactions, we implement a temporary hold on all new customer orders until payment clears our bank. Please note that checks can take up to 10 business days to clear. Once the payment clears, your order will be shipped promptly. For faster processing we recommend utilizing ACH/Wire Transfer. We also recommend mailing checks VIA certified mail or with a tracking number. Payments not received within 90 days of placing an order will result in order cancellation & may results in the suspension of your account.

ALDI Bulk Gift Cards FAQs

Gift cards purchased through our bulk business-to-business program never expire.

ACH/wire transfer or organizational check.

No. ALDI does not offer discounts on bulk orders.

ALDI gift cards are currently not reloadable through our bulk purchasing program. Cards are reloadable in our stores unless they have had a $0.00 balance for over 90 days. ALDI gift cards become deactivated after this point and can no longer be reloaded. To reload your gift card simply visit an ALDI location and present your card(s) to the cashier.

ALDI gift cards cannot be returned. However, they can be used to purchase merchandise within an ALDI store.

Use of this ALDI Inc. issued card constitutes acceptance of these terms. This card may be used only for purchases of merchandise in ALDI US stores. Exclusions (e.g. no alcohol or non-food items) may apply. User must present this card to cashier at time of purchase to redeem card balance. Available balance will be applied to purchase until card value reaches zero. This card has no expiration date. This card cannot be transferred, exchanged or resold. This card is not redeemable for gift cards or cash, except as required by law. This card cannot be applied to previous purchases or returns. Please contact our Gift Card team to initiate a return. We can apply funds to a future order or issue a refund by check.

Standard gift cards without exemption can be purchased in-store with a $5,000 daily limit. Please note that in-store methods-of-payment are credit/debit and cash.

Payment must be received & confirmed before orders are released for shipping. Once confirmed, you will receive an email advising your order has been accepted. It takes 48 hours (Monday-Saturday) for orders to be fulfilled.

Delivery times are as follows:

  • Standard Ground: 3-5 days after fulfillment
  • 2 Day Air: 2 days after fulfillment

No. ALDI covers the cost of shipping to a single US address.

Yes. The individual who places the order must activate cards upon safe delivery. Activation instructions are included upon the packing slip when cards are delivered.
