Get ready to impress your guests with these delicious Deli Pinwheels! These easy-to-make appetizers are perfect for any occasion, from a backyard barbecue to a casual get-together with friends. With a flavorful cream cheese and Swiss cheese spread, layered with arugula, black forest ham and oven-roasted turkey, these pinwheels are sure to satisfy your taste buds. To make these pinwheels, start by whipping up a creamy cheese mixture using cream cheese, dijon mustard, mayonnaise, crushed red pepper, parsley flakes, salt and pepper. Mix in some shredded Swiss cheese to add a tangy flavor to the spread.

Spread the cheese mixture evenly over eight tortillas or wraps, then top each one with a handful of fresh organic arugula. Add a layer of black forest ham, followed by a layer oven roasted turkey. Roll the tortillas tightly, then wrap them in foil and chill for at least 30 minutes or overnight.

When you're ready to serve, simply slice the pinwheels into 1/2-inch pieces and discard the ends. If you want to mix things up, try grilling the wrapped tortillas on medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side before slicing.

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese, mustard, mayonnaise, crushed red pepper, parsley, salt and pepper until smooth. Add Swiss cheese and combine thoroughly.
  2. Evenly distribute cheese mixture among 8 tortillas. Spread evenly to cover entire surface.
  3. Leaving ½-inch around the edge of each tortilla, top with ¼ cup arugula, a layer of ham, diced bell pepper, cheddar cheese slices and then a layer of turkey.
  4. Tightly roll tortillas. Wrap in foil and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes or overnight.
  5. Remove from refrigerator and remove foil. Slice into ½ -inch slices, discard ends.

TIP: For a twist, add diced red and yellow bell pepper to roll or place foil-wrapped tortilla on a medium-high grill, cook for 4-5 minutes each side.  Carefully unwrap and slice.
