Mojito Spritzer

Jump to Recipe

Looking for an easy beverage recipe for your next beach day or holiday get-together? Enjoy the refreshing taste of a minty Mojito Spritzer!

Start by making a simple syrup, combining sugar, water and a few sprigs of mint leaves in a small saucepan; cook on medium to low heat while continuously stirring as the fusion of flavors steeps. This will be the base of your cocktail, enhancing the bold cooling sensation and sweetness of your drink.

Once all the naturally delicious flavors have absorbed into a mint-infused syrup, remove the mint leaves, and let the mixture cool to room temperature. Then, pour your simple syrup into a cocktail shaker, adding the citrusy taste of lime juice, sweet Moscato wine and the herbal fresh scent of muddled mint. Shake vigorously until all ingredients blend to create a crisp, thirst-quenching refreshment.

For a real sensory experience, add a touch of bubbly to your mojito! Top each glass with a half can of fizzy lime hard seltzer. Don’t forget to fill the glass with ice! Then garnish with a fresh mint leaf, and a lime wedge and serve!

Raise your glass and toast to any occasion with this vibrant and sophisticated mixed drink.

1. To make simple syrup: In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine sugar, water and leaves of three mint sprigs. Stir occasionally, bring to simmer.

2. After 10 minutes, remove from heat. Let mint leaves steep for additional 20 minutes. Discard mint. Cool simple syrup to room temperature.

3. In a cocktail shaker, juice one half of a lime and muddle two mint leaves.

4. Add ¼ cup ice, 1 oz. mint simple syrup and Moscato, then shake.

5. Divide mixture over two glasses with ice, then split one can of Vista Bay Lime Hard Seltzer between the glasses.

6. Garnish with lime wedge and mint leaf.

Tip: The mint simple syrup can used in a variety of cocktails as well as a great addition to a morning latte!
