Grocery Delivery & Pickup FAQs

ALDI Grocery Delivery

We are proud to offer grocery delivery nationwide through our partnership with Instacart. Nearly 98% of our more than 2,200 stores offer delivery to customers in more than 10,000 ZIP codes across the country.

Visit new.aldi.us and enter your ZIP code to determine if your local store offers delivery.

Personal shoppers conduct the shopping trip and deliver all orders directly to customers' homes or businesses.

At checkout, customers select a delivery time. Online grocery orders can be delivered as soon as the same day. Alternatively, customers can also schedule delivery for a later date, up to five days out.

ALDI grocery deliveries can occur within the hours of when ALDI stores are open. This also applies to holidays when ALDI stores may be closed or operating condensed hours.

Customers can always count on ALDI for the lowest prices on groceries, every day. However, prices online may vary slightly from in-store prices in your area.

If an item is out of stock, the personal shopper fulfilling the order will contact the customer suggesting a replacement product based on similar items available in-store (if the customer has opted into substitutions), or provide the customer the option to cancel the item, removing it from the order.

If a personal shopper has NOT started fulfilling an order, the order can be canceled and a new order can be placed. If an item needs to be added or removed from an order, this change can be requested through text message to the personal shopper once the customer has been notified that the order is being picked.

Customers receive a text message with an estimated delivery time when a delivery driver is en route. If a customer is not home during delivery, the delivery driver will leave the groceries at their doorstep unless there is alcohol in the order. If there is alcohol in the order, and the customer is not home to show a valid ID, the order will be canceled.

You may cancel your order by visiting https://new.aldi.us/my-orders, and then follow the steps below:

  • Click the order that you would like to cancel
  • Click "Cancel Order" on the bottom left of the screen
  • A pop-up window will appear to confirm your cancellation
  • Select "Yes, I am sure"

Please note, once an order is acknowledged in the system, the cancel button will not be available to select. ALDI's Online Ordering Support Team is unable to cancel ‘In Progress’ orders; however, once a shopper starts working on your order, you can message your personal shopper directly to request a cancellation. If further assistance is needed, please contact ALDI's Online Ordering Support Team at (833) 344-4030. The Online Ordering Support Team is available daily from 9am-11pm ET.

Refunds may take up to seven business days to process. In some cases, banks may adjust the original charge amount instead of displaying a separate refund.

For orders in process, a temporary authorization hold(s) is placed for a slightly higher amount than your estimated order total. This small difference accounts for potential changes in the final total due to special requests, added items, items replaced at a different price and the actual weight of items. For additional information, please visit help.aldi.us

When an order is placed, the anticipated total is provided, including estimated taxes and fees. The final total charged to your card may be different if any changes occur during the shopping process. Examples include:

  • An item is out of stock and you’re refunded.
  • An item from your original order needs to be replaced, and the replacement item has a different price.
  • An item you ordered is sold by weight, and the exact weight is slightly different than the estimate.
  • Your personal shopper fulfills a special request for an item.

Delivery fees are determined by a variety of factors, such as delivery window and location. ALDI shopping bags will be used to bag customer delivery orders. Similar to an in-store transaction, customers will be charged a small fee for bags used. A service fee may also be included to cover operating costs for the service.

For refunds on products purchased online, please contact ALDI Customer Service at https://new.aldi.us/about-aldi/contact-us

The default tip is 10%, or it can be customized to the percentage you choose for your most recent order.   For your convenience, preset amounts of 5%, 10%, or 15% can also be selected. Tipping is optional and the default tip may be adjusted at checkout. Tips are paid directly to the delivery driver and/or personal shopper.
