Jump to Recipe

Halloween Mummy Dogs are a fun, spooky treat that kids will love! Wrapped in crescent roll dough and crispy bacon, these hot dogs look like mummies, making them a spooky and fun meal for the kids. The golden, flaky dough acts like mummy bandages, while the bacon adds a savory crunch.

Kids will have a blast adding sauces and condiments to bring their mummy dogs to life. It's an easy and playful way to enter the Halloween spirit, and the cute look will get some smiles. Serve them with ketchup, mustard or ranch so everyone can dip them in their favorite sauce.

Pair these Halloween Mummy Dogs with sides like sweet potato fries or a spooky veggie platter for a filling Halloween meal. Whether you feed them to your kids as a snack before trick-or-treating or make them part of a Halloween-themed dinner, these Mummy Dogs will be unforgettable for your guests and kids alike.

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cut each crescent roll into 6 thin strips.
  3. Wrap a single strip of bacon on each hot dog.
  4. Wrap each hotdog with crescent roll strips.
  5. Place hotdogs 1-inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until crescent rolls are golden and hotdog internal temperature reaches 165. Remove from oven and let cool for 2 minutes.
